Existing process
Many commercial bakeries already run a make-up table or older former that feeds a proofer. Replacing only the forming module does not automatically raise saleable output. Lane pitch, discharge height and dough condition at handover often limit the new machine more than the published kg/h figure.
Write the existing discharge height, belt width and lane count on the RFQ before treating the purchase as a drop-in replacement.
Compatibility checks
- Work envelope and footprint against the space left after the old former is removed, including tool-withdrawal clearance.
- PLC interface and signal protocol to the existing line, plus who supplies the proofer or oven transfer.
- Operator changeover time for the actual bread sequence, not a generic quick-change statement.
